In the Bible, in the book of John, Chapter 11:25, Jesus arrived to raise Lazarus from the dead. He comforted a weeping family and said something very uplifting. My paraphrase would be "Because I live, you also will live!". Hard for those who were mouring to understand, but isn't this a wonderfully uplifting thought today? Now that we can look back and see what happened so long ago? Isn't this a wonderful message for Easter?
He said "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;
Yesterday I tried to paint a pink rose and it seemed as though the harder I tried to "get it right" the worse it looked. I finally gave up and painted some fast and loose roses, not caring if they were perfect any more. This is what appeared when I gave up striving for perfection.
