I just realized it's May, already. Well ... I knew it was May when I woke up to Hub softly singing the birthday song in my ear last Sunday. At my age it's preferable to skip birthdays, but thanks to a good God I was given a kind husband who won't let me forget I am loved.
This is a pic of my current project, painted the week leading up to my birthday. Inspiration was taken from a huge botanical book that is now out of print, a surprise gift from my sweet Instagram friend, Paints to Posies.
I'll come back and write more about this when I can find the time. For now, I wanted a photo on my site for May. I seem to be posting monthly these days.
