My Scripture calendar for 2025 has been released!
After hearing a series of Psalms sermons this year, I made the choice to exclusively focus my scripture calendar pages on them.
The inspiration for the white poinsettia came from my cousin, Scott. He frequently sends large, lovely poinsettia plants in December. His backstory is quite touching.
His birthday is December 18, and when his mother was alive, he would present her with a poinsettia on his special day. Since her passing, he occasionally gifts them to me.
I had been contemplating the painting of this white poinsettia after his gift last year, with the intention of sending it to him for his birthday this December. I am delighted it is ready and has been successfully added to my calendar as well.
Each calendar page measures 5x7 inches. The top image occupies exactly 5x5 inches including margins, while the bottom 2 inches include a calendar on one side and a place for notes on the other. This design was intentional to allow the painting to be matted and framed.
